Māia Ora was created from a passion for connecting people with the whenua, learning traditional values around sustainability, and creating healthier futures through homegrown kai.
We know starting a garden can feel overwhelming, so our goal is to make the process easier by supplying strong seedlings alongside practical guidance and inspiration. Māia Ora is about nurturing confidence, self-sufficiency, and connection to our food, our whānau, and our environment. Every seedling grown is a step toward abundance, wellbeing, and creating something meaningful from the ground up. Our vision is to support more whānau across Aotearoa to build thriving maara and experience the joy that comes from growing their own kai.
